Prism, the Story behind the Books

Prism has been publishing poets from around the world since 2009.

The ‘On Viewless Wings’ series ran from 2009 to 2013, with six anthologies edited by Ron Wiseman and a team of international poets.

In 2013, the ‘Prism’ series brought a change of format and a change of pace, thanks to the use of more ‘modern’ tools. After trying various formats, we are now happy with six anthologies per year, of 160 to 200 pages each.

We also produce calendars, diaries and notebooks, as well as personal books and special editions.

Ron Wiseman, our Editor, has been publishing poetry anthologies since 2009. He started writing poetry when he retired from a career of teaching literature, and especially poetry. He loves reading, writing, and discussing great authors and their work, but also enjoys less known, budding poets.

Jo Elle, our Co-Editor, has a lifelong passion for reading, but started writing only recently. A computer person by trade, she is behind our database of poets and thousands of published poems. She also designs the book covers, the calendars and the diaries.

Diane Allen Hemingway has been our guest Oriental Poetry Editor for the two Oriental Prism issues.
A former English teacher, she is now teaching Oriental poetry forms on allpoetry.com, as well as supervising all other courses given on the site. No need to say she loves her dogs.

Albert Schepers is our Zen Master and Oriental Poetry Co-Editor. An Engineer by day and zen poet at all times, he is the inspiration behind the Oriental Poetry books and diaries, as well as a support for younger poets.
