No, not THAT kind of prompt!
The word ‘prompt’ has been recently hijacked by AI users as a way to tell an AI assistant the details of a request. Our prompts were, and still are, very different!
Writing prompts are there to inspire, to motivate, to shock, to amuse… and to push writers and poets to write, artists to paint, musicians to create music, anyone in any domain to simply CREATE.
Together, we have run and judged over 1000 poetry contests, online and off, some of them with cash prizes, and the biggest number just for fun and for virtual trophies and medals.
Since the beginning of 2024, we have been posting daily inspiration on our FREE Patreon account.
With the 1000 mark quickly approaching, we have decided to pre-publish part of the 2027 prompts in the form of a calendar. A very special calendar… and a surprising one!
