G’DAY OWYAGOIN’

After a series of miniatures in her first book of poetry, Vyvyan Bloomfield goes on to paint a gallery of bush stories in a surprisingly diverse, lively, and humorous way.

Her creativity is entertaining, and her presentation has the fast pace of witty dialogue, except in a few more meditative pieces about life, nature and the bush itself.

Along the scenes, we meet a seemingly infinite line-up of characters, all different but all equally interesting in their construction, their description and their actions.

Vyvyan’s writing, like her sense of humour, is sometimes dark, sometimes light, quirky or analytical, but never boring.
